Will the game be as sick as Fallout 3/New Vegas?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 3:48 pm

Im talking about real gore here, like bloody mess. Also, will there be hokers and raiders like in the fallout games, but for Skyrim? Or will skyrim be as "soft" as oblivion, if you know what I mean?

Ive seen the new killing move animation, but it seems thats just gonna get used to. the most enjoyable thing for me in fallout 3 was the bloody mess perk, however, because there are no guns in this game, will we see stuff like body parts flying off and heads being ripped off by your axe?

Commence wannabe mods who will say "use search function" or reply bluntly

I hope gore&violence is something between Oblivion and Fallout. Fallout is so violent that it becomes parody pretty fast. I want my Skyrim brutal but serious.

According to Todd Howard, it sounds like it's going to be more violent than Oblivion, but not as gory as Fallout 3 and New Vegas. So we'll probably see a bit more blood, at least, but if dismemberment does occur at all, I'd expect it to be less common than in Fallout. I'm just speaking about the violence, of course. I don't think anything has been said about the sixual aspect of the game. Though I expect that like in past games, any sixual themes will only be implied.

I have a feeling this is going to be the most dark, advlt Elder Scrolls game yet. The trailer alone gives that impression with the finishing moves.

yes i agree, and this is the first one being made to be rated M. correct me if i'm wrong, but oblivion was rated T on release and only changed to M after some people modded in a nvde-mod.

Pretty sure you're right, who would've thought that such horribly rendered boobs that people had to dig through the game's files and mod into the game just to see would get the game an M rating.

Probably nowhere near as advlt as fallout, but ofc, a lot more than Morrowind and Oblivion.

Also, with the whole advlt regard, Fallout 1 and 2 both had advlt features covered. So Fallout 3 had to go with it (although it was toned down)
Given that TES has none of this, I don't expect it. Would it be nice? Sure, always is nice to spend your evening with a hoker.

it's a bit over doing it if enemies explode completely from one hit of your fist. the brutality should be more realistic that Fallout and Oblivion, Oblivion basically didn't have it and Fallout had exploding bodies..

Skyrim will have dismemberment and stuff but they won't be comic like it is in Fallout 3.
