What weather mod do you use?

It happens when you play with HDR on, when its sunny outside then everyone will be shiny and that is very very very annoying

I think they need to carry something so they can powder their face when they get shiny.

It has to be All Natural. I don't mind the light level in the day because it does feel very natural with light streaming in the window. Plus now you can use Imersive Interiors with All Natural! What more could you want?

I am currently using All Natural, but I am also an HTF fan. My first weather mod was Atmospheric Weather System, which is top quality and offers lots of variation. Later I switched to HTF's newer, smaller weather mod, Enhanced Weather. It offers variation, but through different means than AWS (very noticeable size difference between the two because of the change.) I think wrinklyninja was the other great mind behind EW's awesomeness. Now, of course, I am using All Natural with the AWS+EW settings enabled in the INI. I used Deathless Aphrodite's Storms & Sounds with the first two, but I eventually gave it up after running with AN for a while. All four mods are great. S&S is compatible with my three favorite "full" weather mods. I could definitely switch to using one of HTF's weather mods if I wanted to down-size my mod list a bit, maybe so that I could run it on this MacBook Pro, now that I am away from my beautiful desktop again. :(

Once I get a full load order up and running smoothly again, I want to switch back to each of HTF's weather mods anyway, in order to test out the latest updates, yes! Until then, I am happy with All Natural and its Real Lights module. That, along with the integrated weather inside-type modification, will make AN hard to move away from, even temporarily. ^____^

Happy gaming!

Why did you drop S&S after switching to AN? They're completely compatible.

EW currently, because I'm experiencing a game-breaking bug with AN (a never-ending gatestorm sky and downpour over Kvatch and at all points afterwards, despite implementing the bugfix files...long story, very annoying)...but at this point I've all but given up Oblivion simply because as a past user of AN, I got so used to the immersion factor that anything else seemed too jarring of a transition.

I heartily recommend AN for the depth of immersion it provides, and would be using it myself if I could, but EW is also an excellent mod with the added benefit of some simplicity compared to AN.

I know that. I have had S&S in my modified setup (although it is currently not installed) since I started using mods, practically. My post says that it is compatible with AN (and EW and AWS.)

The reason why I dropped it is because I enjoyed AN's atmosphere. I did not feel a need for more intense lightning, although I may miss the rainstorms. I have not played Oblivion long enough since adding AN to decide whether or not I will definitely not use S&S in my AN load order, and I still keep up with the compatibility patches updates.

One thing I have always disliked about S&S is that I cannot make the lightning strike distance further away (than the furthest setting.) The close proximity of the lightning is somewhat immersion-breaking for me.
