Having native support for "triple monitors" is the essentially the same as supporting custom resolutions and fields of view.
It is the same foundation as supporting 4:3, 16:9 and 16:10 display solutions. All it is allowing the renderer to accept extra wide resolutions and a wider Field of View.
Sure, if we're lucky the console versions will be at 1920x1080 (1080p), otherwise at the very least consoles'll get it at 1280x720 (720p)... right?
FoV will probably be at the standard 60-75°.
Standard PC support means allowing all those crazy resolutions laptops and monitors are sold in.
Already we've established the idea for the need for at least basic support for changing resolutions... Is it so much of a leap for you guys to entertain the notion of allowing the extra rendering area? Really, really?
However, to go back to the start. Yeah, TrackIR support is a bit much to expect from Bethesda. TrackIR is actually a niche product which would require extra code specifically for the PC, unlike merely supporting the widest range of resolutions possible.
