TES4GECKO error

I get a "Can't find oblivion install dictionary" when I try to run TES4GECKO.
Since I am using Windows 7, I installed oblivion into C:games

Is that the problem?

I don't know how TES4Gegko behaves on Win7, but make sure you have the latest java libraries installed, and that HKLM\SOFTWARE\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion exists in you system registry. Or reinstall TES4Gegko. Maybe you miss some files...

I think I found the problem. Since I am using 64BIT, the registry path is under wow6432node, not under SOFTWARE.

Fixed it, I simply made a new Bethesda key under SOFTWARE.

Good to know that you solved the problem... It was another matter that people using a 64-bit OS should know...
Personally speaking, I didn't ever know that Windows stores its 64-bit data in a separate registry entries...

but how do you do that.

i use 64bit win7 to but where is wow6432node on the computer and where is SOFTWARE. ps how do you make a new Bethesda key and what is it.

when creating a Shortcut in windows 7 64-bit it says "start in". what is i surpose to write there
