LOL, seems some eggs hatched in someones house. A lot of kiddos, If 1 child can be irritating imagine these number, No wonder mommy spider can be quite jumpy and agressive.
For the sakes of the kidies there better have food, because if mommy get hungry they ll be the food.
Thats why we don t see much "macaroni" of spiders in a single webb. Hunger is hunger and if your edible your food, child, parent or even male partner.
In some spider species male spider test the hunger of the female by pulling one of the female main webb support string. If she comes they zarp out... If she doesn t they bring a tasty gift along anyway, because if she gets hungry during or after wonka wonka the male is food...
IT would be interesting ingame that the female willing to teach his younglings would paralise you and after your paralized the prole jumps you still alive and start to liquify you while still alive whith the poison to svck your shell.
Another things that could be interesting due to the fact above. Some spider actually have "fridges", they partially eats the foe, involving it in web cocoons saving for a latter snack, while eating also other preys that came to entangle themselves. This way they have always a diferent snack and some reserve for hardship days. When one "reserve" is svcked they drop the cocoon to the ground cutting the wire that hold it to the webb.
It would be creepy to see large creature cocoons when you enter or are near the spider lair.
One thing that could blow a brain off or two, would be trapdoor spiders. Imagine yourself stealthying a hunt, then suddenly a giant spider out of nowhere jump at your face height with this "food" look in his dozen eyes. I foresee many hearts attacks hahaha, i would be one.
Spider are so creepy.
Giant snakes, not dragonish, just giant snakes would have been awesome, especially in jungle, tropical, temperate forests and rivers. Your swimming then suddenly something wrap itself around your leg and pull you under trying to bite you...awesome, but not for the heart. Unfortunatly or maybe fortunatly snakes being cold blooded they tend to hibernate (up to death) when temperature gets too cold, thats why a lot of snakes loves the sun, to keep theyr blood warm. Hum vampire snakes.....that just ocurred to me.
