Definitely wait until 11:01 when it unlocks for me. Then I'll play it in the morning again. It is already preloaded for me.

I'm going to make a character and play at least one mission before I head to bed.

Anyway, it was my understanding that Brink releases at 9:00 pm(Monday) here on the west coast. Is this correct?

I would really like to, but I'm not entirely sure if I can. I'm still in school, but I may take a nap tomorrow so that I can stay up for a few extra hours to play :)

How do you know exactly "when" steam releases there game, is there a timer or somewhere telling you "Release....Time"

Im from the UK so our time is GMT - When people say 11:01 - is this GMT time or what?

What time format does steam run in exactly, Just so i know whether its worth me waiting up - (Most likely i will, hell its already 2am just now :P)

Steam bases its releases on the EST (eastern standard time) because they are based in DC I believe.

And yes, there is a countdown timer. Go to the Brink store page in Steam and it should say "This game will unlock in approximately 1 day and 3 hours" (that's when it unlocks for me, but it should still have a time listed for wherever you are).
