Cyrodiil Rebuild

Cyrodiil Rebuild is a project for TES 4 by the Russian team "Revenge", which adds new areas to the cities of the Imperial Province.

Progress scale:

Exteriors: █████████ 95%
Interiors: █████████ 92%
Models: ██████████ 80%
NPC: ██████████ 55%

Mini FAQ:

Q: How much Rebild affect the world? Is it only the cites and their surrounding, or it is something that we have seen in the UL?
A: Currently Syrodiil Rebuild affects only the surrounding of cities. Typically, within a radius of not more than two cells. Exception is Bruma, where we are going to create several operating mines within a radius of 5 cells from the city. Basically, we are working with the urban surrounding, but Cheydinhal, Chorrol and Anvil (lesser than other) have some internal transformations.

Q: Many people saw the screenshots of the project. The new locations requires new NPC. How densely populated are the new places?
A: The average population of each city will increase from 2 to 4 dozens of NPC. Plugin will contain up to 300 new characters.

Q: Would it be the ordinary NPC, or everyone will have something to tell about myself?
A: We tried to make NPC is not too different from the standard NPC, as the appearance, vocabulary and behavior. In our view NPC are the case, which should be most careful in the observance of the measures.

Q: When Сyrodiil Rebuild will finished?
A: Whe are going to release Сyrodiil Rebuil at the beginng of 2011.

The captures of screens are really splendid, I have some questions however if that does not disturb you:
1) Will the MOD be distributed in English as of the beginning or Russian?
2) Will the cities remain closed I suppose?
3) And won't that be compatible with the mods like Open Citties and Better Citties?

1. At first, mod will be relased in Russian, but, we will necessarily translate it into English language.
2. The basic mod becomes under the closed cities (because in Russia Open Sities are not so popular), but, I think, to make the version on Open cities too. Not at once, but it's necessary.
3. About Better cities. We will try to make a special patch for them (I not so love Better cities, but they are very popular. Hence, the patch is necessary, and we make it).

Looks really promising! I really love the new architecture of Bruma. If Beth had a minimal care for design and feel they would have built Bruma with pallisades in the first place!

Yes. Patch for UL will be create first, but, for example, Choroll Hinterland will retain only south lake.

This mod looks really nice so far, I look forward to seeing how it turns out. Will the cities be modular? Or will they all come in a single file?

Looks awesome! I especially love pics Bravil-1 and Chorrol-3, and it's good to see an Open Cities patch will be provided, especially as this will probably help smooth out the transition between between the city and the wilderness with buildings outside the walls.

Big houses on the screenshot of Bruma were made by our http://www.tesnexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=726985-modeller.
Also, these houses will be used in our friends' project Andoran.

Since the CR changes Choroll neighborhood so that a patch for the UL Chorrol Hinterland is not possible, we decided to integrate some elements of the Chorrol Hinterland in the CR. For example, it will be hedge of bushes, southwest waterfall, a water mill and the north-eastern watch tower.

If you intend to actually integrate part of UL, best to ask first. I'm sure the Council would be supportive of the effort, as your mod is very impressive.

Also: Will the new models be available for other people to use eventually, a lot of your new architechture would be brilliant in, for example, a Skyrim mod.

We have borrowed some ideas and technical solutions from Chorrol Hinterland, but not finished elements. Just one exception is the south-west waterfall, because Russian UL fans asked to keep it, and we compromise with them, but this waterfall was modified too. Of course, we will contact with the authors of UL later. We couldn’t do it sooner because of the lack of permanent translators. We hope that our public confession of borrowing this object will help to establish a dialogue with the authors of UL.

After releasing of our mod new models will be free-to-use. Our friend http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/user/399235-vikart/, project director of global add-on http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1107446-andoranwip/ and supporter of free use of any modmaker’s resources, also uses these models and makes interiors with them. Therefore, we can not prohibit use of them.
