Is there a way to fix hp error

Post » Mon Jun 21, 2010 10:33 pm

My character seems to be stuck at ~10 hp below max. No potions, no health restore food seems to do anything.
I was just reading this in the WB help:

Stats Import

? When importing a face from a mod, you can choose to import the stats. Use this with care and be aware of the limitations!

? The stats seen in-game are combination of base npc stats for the pc plus magical modifiers plus scripted modifications. This command only affects the base npc stats, hence what you may see in game may be notably different. In particular:

? Health = npcBaseHealth + gmstFactor*currentEndurance

? Magicka = npcBaseMagicka + (1+gmstFactor)*currentIntelligence

? Fatigue = npcBaseFatigue + gmstFactor*currentEndurance

? It's possible that the change in base stats, combined with the scripted changes to stats will render your PCs stats in some areas negative or bizarrely high.

? Changing stats like this is likely to confuse releveling mods. You may want to disable such mods before importing stats. It may be necessary to remove them (which may require some in-game preparation), then load the leveling mod, then resave, then re-add the mod in order to make the leveling mod adjust to your modified stats.

? To tweak the stats of an existing character, try importing the character to a mod file, editing the character there and then importing the edited character to your game.

Is this what I have to do?

If so I assume I have to use CS/TES4Edit (which I really don't know much if anything about)?

First, check your active effects for anything that might affect it. If anything is, you might need a Cure Disease or Restore X potion/spell. Or visiting a Chapel as said.

If it's caused by mods, UOP comes with a an inbuilt Stat Restore feature. To access it: startquest UOP in the console and go from there.

Got myself fully fed, drank, rested, sitting down (realistic fatigue, health, real sleep extended, duke patrick's basic hypothermia II), and stuck at -2 fatigue / -10 health.
The only thing in my active list is the Realistic Fatigue effects.

Where is a chapel near IC? I am only level 3. I am thinking more of it being the data error rather than a game mechanic with it not listing anything else there.

You have negative health? Shouldn't you have died lol? Have you tried the UOP statfix that Arkngt suggested?
Also you should know by now to post your load order so we can narrow down the suspects.

No I am always stuck at -10 health from max.

I was trying everything else first.

Oh -10 from the max I see now .

Even if you're trying to fix it yourself, if you post you load order here someone may find the problem before you can, honestly nobody can provide much help without it, so I'm not sure why you started a help thread if you don't want to do the one thing that will allow people to help it kind of defeats the purpose.

These things happen. If you don't want to download UOP just for the stat restore there's a mod called Stat Restore Ring that does what it says on the tin.
