About to buy FO:NV...

Post » Wed Jun 23, 2010 8:16 am

So I am about to buy the new Fallout, but I'm not quite sure will my PC run the game.

You see the main information at my signature, I'll post a DxDiag if needed. I readed the system reqs and it was around the same with my computer, a little over (well, FO3 was too, but still it works fine.) So I would be happy if someone would know for sure.

But no worries, If I'm not able to run NV I'll get it to my PS3 (altough the mods will be missing). Thanks already.

If you can run Fallout 3, then you can run Fallout New Vegas aswell.

Oh my god, thank you a BIG lot. Fun year coming (if it lasts at least 10 months like Fo3 did only on PS3 without mods :D)

Yep, its definitely worth playing on PC. Mods and keyboard/mouse is a good reason, not to mention better graphics. (Although your GPU may limit your gameplay to medium quality). Still the PC is the way to go.

How dare you call the PC a console! go wash your mouth with Deathclaw urine!

Also, like was said before, if you can run FO3, you can run NV. Same engine.. Obsidian didn't even bother to update their version, so all the childhood bugs gamesass engine had are still in Obsidians.. fun, no? Ever got mobs stuck in the landscape? -.-'

Today, i had a group of deathclaws running at me, making me feel nervous while scoping them down with my Anti-Materiel.. and they got stuck in a rock.. i mean, come on! now my followers are going mental and won't follow me anymore, because the deathclaws have us "locked", but they can't be hit, not even by explosives.. fun day in the Mojave i guess..
