It's a play off a dragonov...the kick will be very light

Let's not bring in experiences from other games or the real world to Brink (or other games.)

For example, The UMP (Galactic) typically hits harder in most games, like Counter-Strike. Here it's a pea-shooter.

One game =/= another.

You and me both. I know I'll be using the Rokstedi as my marksmen rifle over the light rifles now :).

TAG TEAM TIEM :celebration:

Not quite as potent as the Mk14 Mod 1 or H M 90SE, but we'll get by eh. I'm definitely using it over the Drognav now, since I'm much more the type to spammity spam neck-shots than be precise. Plus, with this Rapid Fire mag it should become relatively deadly.

The NAME Drognav is a play off of the Dragunov, but it's appearance is near-identical to the DSR-1 and it's performance seems identical to that weapon in other games. So in this particular case, one game = another.

You'll actually have to use it before you can make that claim.

Wording intentional, because you won't admit you jumped the gun. Pun not intended.

Pun noted, and enjoyed.

I may very well be jumping the gun, but I'm confident in my statement. A 2-shot-kill weapon with a second's pause or so between shots... it pretty much sounds identical to MAG's Kinmark SRS, which was also modeled off the DSR-1. And before I tried MAG's Kinmark, I looked up how it performed in other games and it was relatively similar to MAG's end result.

If you have the guide can you also list out all the abilities?!

I thought that was already listed on the forums.

No game can match up to how MAG makes weaponry feel *drools* I don't know weapon names, but I have much love for the Valor T1 sniper (and just about the rest of their arsenal.)

I'm not counting on a repeat here, but if it is similar, then it will be awesome at shotgun ranges and scope ranges, but miserable at the mid range you'd really want an assault rifle, SMG, or even pistol. Course, that's hipfire, we can replace the scope in Brink, changing the whole freaking ball game.

Still prefer an AR  But preferences are preferences.

P.S. PSN being down makes me a sad little man :sadvaultboy:

kool, there's a SEMI-auto assault rifle :D i'd love to use that!
one thing that is still bothering me though... on the one website it said the MOSSINGTON is semi-auto, this says it's semi-auto, but other forum users ASSURED me it's PUMP-action >.<
WTF is goin on?!?

It still seems strange that all the SMG's have the same listed fire rate. But hey, at least they all seem to be pretty different in their other aspects.

Really? I hated how most MAG weapons felt, they seemed like weak and half-assed plastic toys. Especially the pistols... the only ones that were REALLY satisfying to fire off were SVER and Valor's .50 cals, the AGVK and Rollins.

Gotta say though, if you like Valor's T1 sniper, the Mk14 EBR, then you are a man of class. :disguise: The Mod 1 variant was easily my favorite gun in the entire game... had many a Combat Sniper and Grim Reaper ribbon thanks to that bad boy in the last months of my MAG career. Though lag kicked in really bad down this side of the globe and my hit detection went out the window, I had to swap to an AR to even compete. :sadvaultboy: Though the M31 CIR was nice.

Myself, and another member of these forums Hot-Wire, were officers of a Valor clan called KEQ. You may have even seen us around.

Anyways, technically the Mk14 (Valor's T1 sniper) is closer to an AR than a sniper rifle... hence why you can equip 4x Opticals on the starting sniper rifles, and why they all seem to have iron sights. I too prefer ARs which is why I'll be using the Rokstedi - the best of both worlds!
