Do all games have This Fan-base? : Othor Games

Never seen a forum like this before, most of the guys are really friendly..
Some cod-hating here and there, but mods are indeed really good,
First forum i've signed up for, because the other ones are just shouting all the time,

Yeah they all have forums, but I have not seen any like this one yet. The official BC2 forum is a joke, absolutely full of trolls. It was decent back in the day before it was released, but the latter months are horrible.. I don't even go there anymore... no point.

I guess we can expect a similar future to this forum. Because literally every official game-forum is a giant dump for the first months after release.

The community in this forum is/was very nice and was quite assessable until a few weeks ago. But now, a week before release already, it becomes a giant mess and this really deters me from reading and posting in the forums a lot.
Hence why 3rd-party/fan-forums or clan-forums are usually the place to go to after release.

This forum, and to a lesser extent, the SD forums as well, remind me of the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood MP forum.

Only two MP games I've found where the official forums are worth the effort.

ive been waiting for BRINK to come out from the very beginning of the announcement and i wondered if all games have an active forum about a game before its release Like Brink.

so any hardcoe Game Followers is it me or Brink getting more Fan Based attention than it is Media attention?

Only if the game is unique, and comes out of nowhere.

I was part of the APB forums prior to release and it was very inactive. It exploded after the game's release, but it was filled with "GAMEPLAY svckS" or "MATCHMAKING IS UNBALANCED" or "HACKERS AND LAG OMFG THIS GAME svckS".

I'm really liking this forum and I just hope it doesn't change when the game is finally released.

Its already getting worse, I fear a flood, must build an Ark.

all i can say is socom! those people are crazy they all think they are elitest and always right! they all claim they are veterans of the game which dosnt really mean jack when it comes to your opinion but oh well, oh and respawn is for babies only true men play classic where if you die in a round your done! anyway just hop on over there for fun look at the first page of socom 4 its all negativity aimed at other members and zipper and sony! they are all nuts! i love this forum!

p.s. the whole respawn for babies thing is how they feel not me just thought i would clarify! lol

Yes, most every game has a forum but this one is quite exceptional.

For one, it looks really cool. I like the transparency.

Probably the biggest reason this particular forum is so good is the community. This is one of the best communities that I have ever been a part of. Now, I haven't been on the forums for very long, but I've been following this game since September so I might not have the best understanding of the community, but from what I've seen it is VERY good. I have not doubt that it is due to the fact that Brink is a team-based game.

Honestly, I feel honoured to be a part of the Brink community. :thumbsup:

Although, games tend to have better communities before release... but that doesn't diminish my expectations.
