» Fri Jun 25, 2010 6:45 pm After the quicksave/autosave issue, i started hard saving my files. It was going fine until recently when I did the Rocket test site quests with the ghouls that things started getting bad
I basically cannot load any file, and file at all anylonger. Whenever I do, i see the load screen, then poof, Fallounv stops working and windows is trying to find a solution etc.
I played for about 5 hrs straight today and have about 100 save files but none except one from about 13hrs back works, one thats way back at the start point.
The game was working fine till the first patch, but after the first patch this happened. I waited and a new patch was introduced and still the same, i cannot load my save files, any of them.
They all just crash to windows with a Fallout has stopped working box.
Please help. Please tell me i didnt lose those hours of questing and scavenging the wasteland only to have to do it again!
Any solution is welcome.
ps - I have updated my video and sound drivers, and set all the setting the the bare minimum and still no go. I'm running an alienware DESKtop i purchased only last year (mid grade, brand new) so i should be running okay.
I even have a dual gtx nvidia drivers with SLI enabled... still crashes only when i load up a game.
