Hey guys.

Okay, so I wanted to get Meyers to be the sheriff of Primm. I can't seem to figure out how exactly. According to the internet, there are two main responses:
1. You have to be on good terms or wear the Powder Gangers outfit to get inside to get him free, or
2. Go to the Mojave Outpost and talk to Major Knight.

In the process of going inside the NCRCF, everyone attacks me anways, even after Dawes lets me in. I kill everyone and I find Meyers behind a gated door (the door was open and against the wall and he was trapped between the wall and the door). I talk to him, but he says something about how he won't leave, the law, and NCR. I'm guessing that was the "pardon" at Majoave Outpost approach. I go to the Mojave Outpost and the only dialogue option I get is to clear the ants for the caravans. There's no option to "pardon" Meyers. Thinking I did something wrong, I went all the way back to NCRCF and Meyers is nowhere to be found.

What do I do now?


On another note, ED-E keeps attacking everyone in the Vikki and Vance Casino.

Did you ever give ED-E a piece of Powder Ganger armor to store that just mysteriously disappeared?

After you talk to Meyers and he says he'll do it if you get a pardon, he goes to Primm. You're supposed to talk to Major Knight at Mojave. If you're getting the quest to kill ants, you're talking to the wrong guy.

The person that pardons the convict is the greeter behind the counter when you walk in. Not the Ranger Commander of the Outpost.
