Story and wasteland

I thought the story was abit to short wants you meet up Mr House things progress really quickly and before you know it its over also there's 400 locations but quite a few of them are just like petrol stations etc. I know Vegas is in a desert but the map just feels empty unlike F3 along with side quests

There's actually 180 total quests in New Vegas. There's actually more side quests then there are total quests in Fallout 3. Wasteland feeling empty has been said before but I just don't agree. I guess it's all down to opinion.

I agree with the post-strip campaign going by a little fist but you have to remember there's 4 possible routes you can take, as in campaigns.

I think the reason some people think Fallout 3 is "fuller" is because it is a ruined city. There are partitions of buildings everywhere.

They are not referring to actual useful locations.

If they are referring to actual useful locations, then I have no idea what they are talking about :) Majority of Fallout Locations are Subway exits and entrances... which doesn't exist in NV.
