Forgive me, I know there have been a million stupid mulitplayer questions, but I'm still not really sure about some stuff so I got yet another for you guys.

So I get the whole drop in drop out thing for multiplayer. In everything I've read, or the videos I've seen, all the multiplayer discussion is based around playing with your friends via your friends list. I've never seen any matchmaking discussion for the consoles.

I don't have any friends who are interested in Brink, is there just basic matchmaking that will throw me in a match with random people?

Excellent question. I would imagine so, but couldnt say for sure.

One thing that will svck is if you're constantly going up against full or close to full clans. Not everybody has a large group of friends or a clan to play with and I don't think you should be punished for it.

Yep. You get tossed in with randoms. If you have a party, they find you a game that has enough room for all of you. Just like the other FPS.
