Will You buy the F/NV immidiatelly or You will wait for patc

Post » Mon Jul 19, 2010 10:26 am

None of those options really fit me. I'm gonna wait a month or two, simply because I don't see the point in buying it immediately after release. I'm not exactly impatient, and I've got lots of things to do, so I can wait.

Unless FO:NV completely defies Bethesda logic. I'll wait till the game and all DLCs are released in a bundle for the PC at a discounted price. Not about to pay full price for something that'll only be left in a bairly stable state six months after release and loaded with glitches and broken features.

Then again who knows....This could be that mythical game where everything is near perfect and only 1-2 minor bug fixing patches are needed. I'll see how much rage is on the forums about a week after release.

Since the CE is limited and I am heavily addicted to well-made collector's editions, it's that one I pre-ordered.

Well, I'm not actually addicted to collector's editions, if anything this is my first one, but yeah.

Depends, haven't pre-ordered yet because I'm working out my financial situation.
But uhm, I might pre-order in a day or two.
But since it's released on Friday and no mail comes on Saturday and Sunday in Sweden I think I have to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday.
So.
It depends, I might not pre-order at all and hope that EBGames at Kupolen has it on release day, Friday, so that I can get it instantly.
Man this really svcks, Bethesda, why did you have to place the release date on Friday?
Why couldn't you have placed it on Wednesday (day after US get's it) or Monday? (6 days after US get's it)
Friday was a bad choice from my perspective. :(

So I have no idea. But I plan on buying it as soon as possible, just don't know if I should pre-order online or wait until release day and go down to EBGames and buy it.
And if they have collectors edition at EBGames I'll buy it there.
But it's all out at CDON.com. :'(

gabriel77dan why don't you pre-order instore and then collect it on release day. That's what I've done at Gamestation here in the UK.

As a personal rule, I don't preorder games. I'm not patient enough to wait for patches etc but I'll definitely wait a few days/weeks for initial fan reaction.

I dunno, I don't like pre-ordering in stores.
Might go down there and check it out.

I had CE edition pre-ordered on the day, or day after I could pre-order it, (about 3 months now) . As for the DLC(s), it depends on what's in them. But unlike FO3's DLCs, I wait for about a week to see the reviews to decide if if want a DLC now, or wait untill the GOTY comes out.

Why isn't there an "I pre-ordered" option?

So it looks like almost everyone will buy it immidatelly after release.

I have just look at video from FNV demo on youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28EFHmQedPo
After watching that vid i have decided to buy it immidiatelly (Standard Version). I can't wait for patches because gameplay demo makes me much less patient.

Play it immeadietly, a few bugs and sketchy frame rates here and there arent enough to stop me from playing it.

I will buy the standard edition on the release date. Since they decided to use the same engine as FO3 I doubt there will be any HUGE, game-breaking bugs. IMO DLC is almost always way overpriced compared to the stand-alone version of games (doesn't help that I have to use a crappy satellite connection for internet) and it usually never melds well with the original content (Mass Effect 2 excluded). I probably won't buy it even when it becomes bundled in a GOTY edition.

I preordered my ce game and guide several months ago and paid it off in august. I could never wait til there were patches or dlcs. I usually never have any problems with games so I'm not worried.

I Pre-ordered the Collector's Edition through Amazon. Will arrive on my doorstep the day of release!

Would of just gotten the standard, but I love cards and the chips look sweet.
