Do we know if the PC version will include
-A console to adjust settings
-adjustable Field of View (either in console or a slider in the menu, or even one in the config files)
-Do we know the amount of graphics settings we will be given? (I hope we get more then what crytek gave us, I want full control over graphics settings)
-What type of options server admins will have when creating a game (increase player count? time limits? Map rotation? etc)
I hear this developer was very PC oriented with its past games, but that never stopped other developers from abandoning the PC crowd, and what made them popular (im looking at you crytek).
With the lack of PC information, it gets me a little worried.
What do we know about the PC version other then dedicated servers?
They've said there will be a console, no confirmation on any details that I've heard.
FOV is unconfirmed, but even though I'm on PS3, I'm hoping PC players have this option (and am fully expecting you will - this IS the same dev team who did Enemy Territory, they know how PC gamers think).
Graphics scaling is also unconfirmed, but again, I'm expecting it to be pretty good.
We only know that there will be some measure of customisation of servers, and that there's quite limited options on the console versions for private match customisation, which is a little disappointing, but not a big surprise. I'd prefer more than I've heard we get, but again, I expect the PC version to get more, because that's kind of expected on PC releases.
Also, the game hasn't been ported from platform to platform, everything that would be better being coded platform-specific, was. Only the really basic assets are used cross-platform, and even those are put into a framework that's developed specifically for the platform you'll be playing on. PC version isn't going to be a shoddy console port like Transformers: War for Cybertron was - and the console versions aren't going to be a repeat of Quake Wars (which was outsourced, instead of SD doing it themselves)
