Hello, simple question, i seen a post not to long ago and in it some one said something that maybe the Kahjiit came from Akavir, well i've been reading the lore alot lately and it said theres also Cat-like peoples in Akavir, are these the Kahjiit? also, i made a Kahjiit in morrowind recently and theres an ability that says some thing with "Akavir" in it, but i forgot the other things.

i also have a non-related question, how is it that some Dunmer live to be very very old, such as Divayth Fyr, but yet some die of old age? how old must one dunmer be to die of old age?

Divayth Fyr is an extreme example. He is a very talented sorcerer who has extended his life for a very long time through his study of the arcane arts, and from a relatively easy lifestyle. Dratha is another example from House Telvanni. Baladas is also quite old, as is Queen Barenziah.

Powerful wizards and very wealthy people with the best medical spells available to them can read 1,000. Ancient Telvanni wizards have access to spells and necromantic practices the average Dunmer either does not have access to or has moral objections against. Divayth Fyr in particular is over 4000 years old according to one of his daughters.
