Can hand to hand be a more viable playstyle now?

Im thinking, a variety of different punches with different effects, a left punch makes the opponent stagger to the left, a punch aimed at the face dizzies them etc. Also, special gloves you can use which add elemental damage on when punches, similar to NeverWinter Nights by bioware.

Also, kicking should be implemented, giving a possible knockdown effect, and a h2h sneak attack should always paralyze. Also, when you have gotten sufficiently skilled or there can be a perk that reduces or cancels out damage from blocking with fists, as blocking with fists in oblivion was completely and utterly useless.

A.. this is not a dedicated boxing game so putting all these variations into h2h when not many people actually give a [censored] about them isnt worth it
B.. this would severly overpower fists if you get all these bonuses and special srikes and power gloves, why not just puncha hole through there chest while your at it :D

We haven't seen or heard anything about hand to hand. What's even more worrisome is that game informer had an entire article dedicated to combat on their online hub without a single mention of hand to hand.

Hand-to-hand might be one of the three skills they're removing; so fisticuffs is just something you do when you don't have a weapon in your hands. It always seemed severely underpowered in OB and MW.

Cue the wailing of all the players who like rolling monks. :(

I think hand-to-hand should have its place in Bar Fights and maybe in areas where weapons are not permitted.

But as a fully featured skill it can't equal the weapon skills.
