Hi,

is anybody familiar with the different regions in The Reach?

I need a more or less lore accurate name for that forest:

Firstoff, pics like those don't help.

Secondly, The Reach is south of Amber Guard. It is west of Kar-something. Check out The Imperil Library for the full name, I can't recall it right now.

Thirdly, I think it is the forest that lies on the Skyrims side of the roots of the Mountains that separate Skyrim fromHammerfell.

Amber Guard, Karthwasten, Snowhawk, Markarth Side and Lainalten are all in The Reach...The Reach don't start west of Amber Guard.

Yes, it is the Forest on the Skyrim Side on the root of the Wrothgorian Mountain, the border to High Rock and the Dragontail Mountains to Hammerfell.

I just want to know if this region has a special name in the Elder Scrolls Lore and I need a breton sounding name for the forest.

OH! I thought you wanted inf on it. Since no games (shadow key doesn't count) have taken place in krim, all we know it as is the Reach, from maps of Tamriel.

Just pick one, names aren't that important. What is more important is the whole mood you put to the area. Bretony has few good mages, but these guys do it everywhere for everything, superstitiously. Think Alice in Wonder Land with fewer loons and more talking rocks.

You can check the http://www.imperial-library.info/pge/highrock.shtml for more, bottom of the page.
