Save Brother of Steel?

Post » Fri Aug 06, 2010 2:45 pm

Im trying not to kill the brotherhood of steel, but House's next objective is to destroy the brotherhood bunker.. Are there any ways around this besides doing the wild card? Can someone tell if siding with Mr. House good karma or bad karma? and one of topic question, how can i side with the NCR? Thanks

There's a secret alternate option. If you do all of BoS' quests, but don't turn it over to Hardin, you can make peace between them. At least as NCR, uncertain about House.

What are the BoS' quests?

What are the BoS' quests?

* Find the 3 holodisks on dead BoS scouts
* Find the 3 living BoS scouts and get thier reports
* Depending on who you side with in the BoS you either have to find 3 pieces of equipment scattered throught the land, or kill the Van Gruffs.

Just warning. If you want the NCR and the BoS to get along later in the game, side with the current elder. I wish I had.

I havent made that choice yet. Im going to side with the NCR I think. Im already in the BoS and im kinda bummed I cant get them to align.

But its nice to have a game with repercussions like that. You live you learn.

This makes me sad... I have always had a soft spot for the BoS, and when I found them I had decided to stay with the NCR.
So instead of killing the NCR guy they told me to I informed him, and am now heading to their bunker to finish 'em off for good.

Is there any way to get the NCR guy to leave without a high speach?

He will leave his bunker sometimes to spy on the Powder Gangers, you can sneak in and sabotage his radio.

Is that what he was doing running up the road? I was kinda confused. I didnt want to kill him, so I reloaded my save, went to a town and bought a speech mag to get my +20 speech points to make the speech check. And when I went back I see the mission arrow moving. And he comes running up the road. I followed him back down to the bunker.

How did u get the option to side with NCR? Is it a certain sidequest that needs to be done? I wana side with the NCR rather than mr house..

Caesar will absolutely NOT allow you to let them live, so it's possible you can't save them for House.

After you meet benny in New Vegas you get approched by the guy from the Legion, and a guy from the NCR. The guy from the NCR tells you to goto the NCR Embessy on the strip. I assume that is where you get the missions to side with them. I just got the plat. chip back and Im about to go there.

I might be wrong though.

You cannot save them from House. He will not allow them to live. (At least I couldn't find any option, and I did all the BoS Quests, and became a paladin - with the original elder)

I see. I completely forgot about meeting up with the ambassador, way too many things to do... I'm gona back track a few saves to see if that option still lies...

OMG I can't thank you enough <3.
I felt so bad about having to kill the BoS, but if they endanger a fellow NCR I would do what I must.
