What does everyone think of the new game, Catherine, Atlus is releasing sometime in the summer for the US? I know they put the main character of Catherine as a cameo for Persona 3: Portable.

I was excited to see an unofficial Atlus thread, as I've been a fan since Persona 2: Eternal Punishment on the PS1, my last big gaming love was Etrian Odyssey 3, and right now I am completely enthralled with Radiant Historia. One of the things that really stands out to me is just how likable I find Stocke to be, for a taciturn protagonist. Even my husband likes him- and he almost categorically dislikes macho silent male leads in games. Plus, the soundtrack is gorgeous.

Anyway, following Danicore's example, I'll list the Atlus titles I've played, at least as many as I can remember on half a cup of coffee:

I'm also a big fan of the Etrian Odyssey series for the DS, and I think P3P was my favorite version of Persona 3. I loved FemC.

Re: Catherine- I haven't run into her cameo yet in P3P, and I am looking forward to trying the game when it comes out, but I am ambivalent about some of the things I've read. We'll see, basically.

I have not been following developments, but it is an Atlus game, (made for a desktop console) so I will kindly pay for it the day it comes out.

I have only seen the first trailer and read a comment from one of the developers. "We want to make an advlt game before we make a SMT for the new generation consoles." (Something along those lines.)

Yes, I like what I heard and seen so far.

The gameplay doesn't look like the sort of thing I usually go for, but the story seems interesting enough. As long as we get the adjusted difficulty settings then I'll pick it up.

It looks [censored]in' bizarre is what I'll say. The story, the style, the aesthetics, and the main gameplay in the nightmare sequences. Which is why I'm looking forward to it, and hope it has the classic Atlus touch (where it will [censored] you hard :shifty:). Though those covers, even the "censored" ones, are pretty contemptible.
