Lod Bug

I have a green wall lod that cover an ayleid ruin. Anybody knows what mod could cause that?

It is not a mod issue. I saw it the day Oblivion was released. Bethesda optimized LOD a bit, it seems to me, as they introduced new patches but I still encounter it here and there (on the road between the IC and Chorrol, for instance). It's very disconcerting to see land "snap" into place as you move forward. Oblivion's LOD, in my opinion, was implemented very poorly.

It is not a mod issue.I saw that kind of thing the first day I played Oblivion, before I started using mods. They optimized LOD a bit, it seems to me, asthey patched the game but I still encounter it here and there (in one particular spot on the way to Chorrol, for instance). It's very disconcerting to see land "snap" into place as you move forward. Oblivion's LOD, in my opinion, was implemented very badly.


Indeed! Its a bit immersion breaking! Thanks. I think I am gonna go play Morrowind for a couple of hours...

Tell me about it,mge has better distant than oblivion.
