Volcanoes

I think it would be awesome to see some random eruptions and flowing lava in parts of Skyrim. Anyone else?

We saw that there are lava fields in south east Skyrim in the map on the wall in the videos with Todd.

There's certainly a significant area of volcanic tundra, with mountainous terrain in the far east of Skyrim (volcanoes?). So I hope we'll see active volcanoes and lava somewhere; it'd be an interesting contrast to Skyrim's cold 'n' icy theme.

Yeah, a volcanic dungeon would be cool, and it would look very similar to going into an oblivion gate in Oblivion. If you think about it.

Totally awesome idea, especially if the eruption was tied into the lore of Skyrim (as most major volcano's are tied into local lore in real life), and that the eruption would create lava flows, plumes and even pyroclastic flows!

Alas, I think thats a _bit_ too far for the tech..

I don't think they would make a large portion of Skyrim's map "volcanic tundra" without any volcanoes.
