I'm definitely not going to try anything like that for a couple of playthroughs. I doubt it is going to be easy, wiping out entire factions by yourself.

For you, maybe. Not for me, because like the poster just before you said:

Nope, not me. I feel you'd just be killing content.

No quests, no merchants = you may as well just be playing a dedicated "shoot anything that moves" game, like Doom.

I wouldn't kill everybody I come across, that would be difficult at lower levels and could effect the story. However I would kill people who annoy me, who you get the choice to kill or save and non-essential npcs. I always like having the other NPCs fear me and make comments, say when you walk into a bar etc.

I'll most likely forgo companions but I doubt I'll just go running in anywhere guns a blazing. I want to see all the quests that are available to me so that seems to defeat the purpose.

Well we can supposedly kill everyone except one person so that has to have some unique ending sliders for it, should try it at least once.

I'm not loning it until I've done a game for the NCR, a game for the Legion, and game for the House, etc etc. By that time I will have a pretty good idea of how to play them off against each other.

I was just thinking of a playthrough where you immediately kill only the leaders to every faction you run into. I wonder how the rest of the group would react other than hating you

Hmm, Really haven't thought about it but if I do it will be on my 2nd play-though (Certain quests for factions may yield good weapons etc.) and wouldn't want to lose them by killing everyone, So i would want to know in advance which weapons I would miss out on.

I dont plan to kill everyone.
But I dont want to side with the main factions in the game.
