That's one of the reasons why the destruction of Vvardenfell didn't impact me so much. Most of the NPCs I know and love have passed away by then.

Except for the mer, they still live significantly longer than men, beast, and orsimer

Problem is, the humans you mentioned, even if they weren't in MW, are probably pretty old or dead, since it has been 40 years after Oblivion.

Which is why it falls on the player to determine their fates. Their devs won't be using them again.

It only makes sense to blow the place up if the popular crowd are dead. They weren't having babies in Vvardenfell, anyway.

After MW, they exited pursued by bear.

It was before my time on the Lore RP/forum, but no one's mentioned "The Trial of Vivec" yet. One of the possibilities for his fate is that he left for Aetherius when he chose to (pretending to go along with a public trial until that moment).

I mentioned that one of the possibilities of Vivec's fate was CHIM. I was meaning to imply canonization for the Trial of Vivec there.

It's left wide open by the DEVS. I think that it's left vague because no matter what happened, eventually he no longer existed on this plane and therefore his spell on that rock over Vivec City would wane. Even if he achieves CHIM and becomes conscious within the Godhead, and is therefore technically still alive, his presence on Nirn or perhaps even his ability to manifest here or care for the things that happen would have possibly diminished. Or perhaps, as per the Loveletter, he had intended to test the Dunmer all along.

The spell only waned because, the dunmer lost his love for himher. And if we apply CHIM, they forgot love (Vivec = CHIM = Love = everyone = Vivec, etc), as seen how Vulhan did pretty much cause this by sacrificing Sul's girl friend.
