Well Skyrim is the home of the Falmer and some believe the Rieklings to be devolutions of the Falmer. If they are truly only snow goblins then it still fits Skyrim.

meh. I did not like them, but for no reason other than they were overpowered for a creature of their stature. but that had less to do with what their actual strength should be and the fact that they were apart of an expansion that among other things was for more powerful characters.

I liked them. Although it got old fighting them over and over again in Morrowind. However they would fit right in to Skyrim's setting.

He's not excited about them. In fact, he said he doesn't even want them in the game.

He who? Who are you talking about? I didn't quote anyone, so why are you assuming I'm talking directly to someone?

Sorry, I thought you were saying it was odd that the OP was excited about them even though he said he doesn't want them in Skyrim. My apologies.

At present time we do not know if Rieklings will be featured in TESV or not. No information has been released as of yet of either their inclusion or exclusion. ;)

Yes to strong for their size and they had 50% reflect magic, making them to hard to kill.
But yes it was a high level area, no problem with them as a level 7-12 level enemy.

It will be great if we get Reiklings riding on Boars, Goblins riding on wolves and Mai'q riding on a Dragon.

Nothing wrong with another intelligent enemy, the goblins in OB were a pain, but they were monster/npcs with a society. Surely this is a good thing, a hostile tribe, if you will, rather than another bunch of random, mindlessly hostile dungeon dwellers with no motivation other than eating/bashing/toasting the player.
If they have a society and an intrinsic motivational framework, put them in.

I'd love to have them back but give them the strength of a goblin this time instead of making them the equivalents of were-bears.
