Skyrim Winter Olympics......

there are steep mountainsides. snow has physics to it. lots of trees for wood. so why not have some nord-board events like the half-barrel (half pipe but you have to have had as least 4 mugs of ale) and the downhill slaughter (differs from the slalom in that you have to hit spectators with a club while going through the course). nords gotta do something with all those mountains and all that snow right?

That raging river? You might be able to ski down on top of it with Water Walk.

I wonder if there'll be sleds and sleighs pulled by dogs or reindeer.

I think we all really want to snowboard down Skyrim's mountains, but we just don't want to admit it.

EDIT: because it would be so gimmicky/tacky/ wouldn't fit at all

In the trailer I don't see any snow physics proof, the snow may be just painted on the ground.

"Det e s? lett! Barneskirenn!"

How about wood elf curling?

On a serious note though, my people did do sport in the winter in the viking age, on ice with iceskates made of bones(a shoe with a bone strapped under it) with a stick and a ball.

supposedly the snow falls and lands according to the shape of the object it rests on.........like particles so it has some physics to it. the thing i dont know is if it slows you down when walking in lots of it or it is slippery or icy.

Maybe the odd games in the snow. They must have some form of entertainment. But nothing olympic style.

I want to see people toss snowballs at me, giggle and run away.
