I personally dont like glowy items, but can stand it if it is say a ring or the top of a magical staff, but not the whole item and really hate swords and stuff like them glowing all the time, especially for a thief/assassin type character makes it hard to sneak I would think.

No it's friggin' annoying, I remember adding a resist magic enchantment to my armour and my Orc was glowing pink for the rest of the game

One of the reasons I use a mod to stop the glow :shrug:

They really need to stop reminding us "this armor here is ENCHANTEEEED! OMG IS GLOWING!"

Seriously... that's annoying

not all enchanted stuff is annoying like the Dark Brotherhood robe, that was a white outline and that was it, it looked pretty cool also
also, there is a mod for that

Kinda defeats the purpose when you're wearing jet black armour in an attempt to be stealthy but it's glowing white
