For me, I don't think I have lurked, once I saw a site for Morrowind, I singed up right away.

Somewhere between '03 - '05 probably...it's been a long time. I know it all started with Morrowind, and on an old account. I was lucky enough not to be one of the people asking "where's the puzzle box?!" I found the answer before I needed it while lurking >.>

I started playing Morrowind after the GotY edition came out, if i remember right, and came here after I got stuck trying to find the Dwemer Puzzle Box. And then I kept lurking because of the hilarious conversations. And nowadays I haven't played a Bethesda game in 3 years (although this will all change when Skyrim comes out) but I still keep an active account because it's one of the few places on the internet I have an old-ish join date, which is kinda cool.

I think the puzzle box is the reason a good majority of the people here joined.

I've been here since 08 lurking here for nearly a year on account of it being the first time I was exposed to a internet community (one that continues to be my favorite) and was nervous about posting. Before coming here the closest thing I had to interaction with other people on the internet was reading Morrowind FAQ's (like the puzzle box for example). Choosing instead to lurk here as a result. I then posted a number of times on a certain fan group of a forum and after a time chosen to make myself an account here.

The original reason why I have come to find this place was that I was looking up info on the next elderscrolls game after Oblivion which suffice to say took quite a bit of time. But decided to stick around after spending enough time watching over what was still new to me along with waiting for info on what later became Skyrim.
