The FSG is defunct, and the Temple Zero Society is mostly interested in folklore and fables and whatnot. Carl Sagan and E=mc² aren't going to ingratiate you with Monkeytruthers.

Yeah, I knew the liberties I've taken regarding the nature of magicka would not please the hard-core lore masters because I'm just making stuff up there, but it was way too fun to write and I couldn't bear to leave it out. It's really not a big issue for me though.
