Because the elder scrolls series, since my childhood, are in full and perfect english,i mean everything:subtitles, voices, books, missions, all in english(i really love english language),the games are perfect, the music, history, freedom, graphics, all is great...but the problem its because im from mexico and i love the games, they make , but read all the TES background its very dificult and hard to me because my english its not so good,i mean i think we are more latinoamericans than spanish people,in spain the games are translated to spanish language, why not in mexico? and all the other latinoamerican countries? i think bethesda deserve more publicity here, and that is a perfect way to make the difference, please answer this question, this games are really cool and i cant wait for skyrim, because i know its a long time until 11,11,11 and i feel i could make the change until that day comes. my teacher in english says that play videogames its a good way to learn english and its true, but please make only the subtitles we dont need anymore just the subtitles,im talkin of a file of 10mb or less, use the spain version i think is not so hard dont you think? :foodndrink:

You sir do have a good point, however the name of this topic should be something among the lines "Other Language Subtitles" or "Choose Subtitle Language Option" (which is what you're asking for) many games have this, i don't see why elderscrolls doesn't, never really bothered me i started playing games and watching movies in english when i was like 6 the first english words i learned were "Nuclear Missle" from red alert 2 when i asked my mother so innocently "mommy what does Nuclear Missile mean?" as for accent, i never had problem with any accent, in fact i catch on the accent of whoever i'm talking to, give it a week and i'm talking the same way as the locals. (this i notice through skype since i can't travel much) but i'm going off topic, this is a nice suggestion and i think bethesda should focus this issue down once they've finished the game. its not hard to hire a bunch of guys to translate the game over to another language, a LOT of work, but should be done,

You speak American Spanish correct? I can speak American Spanish fairly well, but can understand the Peninsular Spanish subtitles from what I just looked up, the pronunciation and vocabulary are a bit different, but I still get the gist.

You may not understand what I just said, so in short: You will have to learn better English, or Peninsular Spanish.

Yes I understand both:american spanish and peninsular, its not very hard, in fact i visit my grandparents in spain frequently so i know the pronunciation and vocabulary very well, but i prefer the american accent because its more practical, but you think the game will come in the american version with option to spanish subtitles? thanks for the answers.
