so i started a new playthough on NV because my old one crashed and i went through the intro and did the vigor tester machiene, when the doc asked me to sit on the couch however, it proved to difficult for my player to execute such a task and could not sit, so what do i do i am stuck at the intro cant leave his house and have started several profiles to see if it was just a small glich i even reinstalled it on my xbox to see if it would work, i didnt so i need some help here i have been defeated by a stupid couch help!

Sorry mate, but it sounds like your going to have to delete everything from your hard drive (game, patch, and DLC) plus clear your cache. It may sound like you're nuking it from orbit, but since you're not even out of Doc Mitchell's place you won't be losing much.
