I got this game on sat. loved it, played it on marathon since (really want to finish it now) But ive just encountered a game destroying glitch. I encountered a ncr trooper just out side of vegas, he started shooting at me (for some reason some of them hate me despite me having an accepted status(?) Anyway, minor glitch, ill just kill them who gives a toss. But one slight problem. This particular trooper respawns as soon as i kill him, infinitly. Not only that, he also follows me whereever i go. fast travel or no not long after me running away from him ill recieve another red warning mark on my compass and sure enough its him.. I used all my healing potions travelling down to the legion camp, he followed me there, killed all the legionaires, and showed up 200 yards from me when i fast travelled out of there. its unbearable.

I havent tried clearing my cache, ill try it but im doubhtful. If anyone can help id be extremely grateful! I havent found any info on this glitch on the vault website at all.


Further background:
After doing the repconn facility quest (that mamoth 'go to the far beyond' one) I was eager to just make some actual story progress. So i didnt waste anytime when i got to vegas. i went straight into the big tops casino, refused to give up my weapons, killed everyone, killed benny, found mr Yes (is that his name?) ran over to mr houses casino, killed his robots, killed mr house, reprogrammed the sentry bots as per mr nices plan, got a note from ncr to meet ambassador in the embassy, went to embassy, for some reason 80% (but not all???) Ncr were hostile to me, killed them all, spoke politely with the girl at the front desk, found the ambassodor, talked to him, he gave me a quest, left embassy, more ncr trying to kill me, fight back, for some reason the security bots THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO WORK FOR ME
