Which birthsign did you choose in Nehrim?

Post » Fri Oct 01, 2010 12:13 pm

I am asking because I see that the Birthsign in Nehrim is important and is quite different from Oblivion Birthsign system, even with RBP. So I want to know what is the best option if there is such a thing?

I chose the mage.

Best option though seems to do with your playstyle and what kind of character you want to develop.

So I see two ways about it. Either you choose to support your playstyle and character development or to supplement it. In Oblivion I'm playing a paladin, so already doing that. Plus I chose to be a half-aeterna - I'm taking the route of supporting my racial pick.

I wouldn't say it was much different than Oblivion just much simpler. What I don't like is that it is incongruent with itself. The calendar is earthly with 12 months, but there is only 4 signs??? I suppose only the cardinal elements count.

Thanks for the reply!

I also plan to choose the mage, and I also have an half-aeterna, but I am choosing mage because it seems more useful than the other signs. But I am not sure if this is true, thats the reason of this thread, maybe one of the other birthsigns is more useful and I don't know that.

I chose the Villain birthsign but now im regretting the mistake and should have chose the warrior birthsign. The only spell that does something useful is the that one that uses the arcane stone to instantly kill people. The invisibility spell seems useless to me.

 Good point.

Although I selected all birthsigns except the killer or thief, what was its name, and noticed that the smallest bonuses are from the paladin birthsign, only relating to defense and restoration, second the warrior, only with strength, endurance, and weapons, and the mage with the biggest number of bonuses related to mages, int, will, and magic skills. So I think mage is the best option.
