pimp-boy dissapointment : Fallout: New Vegas

so, i just got the pimp boy at mick and ralphs after dealing with the omertas, and i have to say it would be one of the coolest things ever, but when i bring it up to use it, its at a 45 degree angle. im guessing its suppossed to be pimp and gangster or something, but it just ruins it. also, the left part of it clips through my arm.

Yeah i had the same issue. Maybe we can get a modder to fix it. Il take a look in geck and see what I can find if anything.

im a console user, and, i know i can get my old one back, but i like the pimpboy, just this stupid agnle thing ruins it. why did they put that in?

just learned that its a glitch that makes it at an angle. worst glitch ever. im not kidding. just my luck. might stop playing...

It's a glitch? Seriously?

I thought it looked pretty, but it was so glitzy, I half-expected some Freeside thug to come up to me with an axe and like... Saw my arm off, running away with both my limb and the glittery, crooked thing on it.

...But yeah - um, I had to get rid of it because of its annoying perspective. It made me dizzy. :wacko:

How do I get the omertas quest? I went to gomorrah but couldn't trigger the quest?

Talk to Ralph of Mick. It's one of them guys that give you the quest.

I have talked to both of them. Maybe I have the quest already I'll have to double check because I've exhausted all dialogue options with them.

So its not a marked quest? I went to gomorrah and only saw omerta thugs. Where's the head guy?

the quest to deal with the omertas is during "the house always wins" destroy the omertas weapons then kill the leaders, make cachino leader then talk to mickand ralph, the weapon guy. now can we get this thread back on track?

I also have the Pimp Boy, but do not have the weird angle glitch. Just looks like a regular Pip-Boy to me, but all shiny.

I did notice that the little scrolly wheel on the left doesn't scroll, but that is okay.

I thought it was ok till I realized it was orangeish, with gems and ti looked like a blazing sun while I was looking at it in the day.
