Do you actually ever have to go to lucky 38 and speak with house? I have two wild card quests so what would happen if I go to the fort without ever going to lucky 38?

Speak with? I don't think so. You will have to interact with him in some fashion for all the quests though. Wild Cart and NCR need you to bump him off. I think Caesar does too.

Wild card needs me to bump him off? wild card is an actual person? I thought it was just the name of the quests? I am 40 hours in and haven't done much of the main quest. I have a quest to go see house at lucky 38. Do I have to do this? What if I just do the other wild card quest which is to go see benny at the fort?

If you deside to kill Mr House you get to see him in the flesh and talk to him in the flesh as he begs.

Dont expect to see some healthy guy or a ghoul. He looks to be 700 years old long hair barely able to move and he is found in a chamber that keeps him alive and apparently slowed the aging process down. His brain is apparently hooked up to the computer through wires which is how he still exsist in the modern world only as brain waves through a "computer system"

As far as having to see house, I dont know every time I get on the strip victor tells me the "boss" is waiting for me.

he looks preaty scary. theres a wall terminal in the room where hes on the big tv screen and i think left is a terminal on the wall hack (recomend using stealth box cause robots become hostile) IT OPEN THE WALL TO THE RIGHT OF IT GO IN AND ON THE LEFT WALL THERES a door or sumthing go through it loads a new area go straight use the terminal to open the case and talk to him i belive you can say youll put him back and kill hiM

When I first say him in person. I nearly puked! I disabled him but the poor bastered begged me to kill him. He looked like he was in real pain so I had to.

Anyone know though what happens if you go to the fort BEFORE you ever go to lucky 38 and talk to house? After you go to the fort does the main quest halt until you see house?

If not for House's intervention you would have suffocated in a shallow grave instead of receiving the medical care necessary to survive.

The least you could do after stealing his dreams and empire is do it quick.

Well, if it wasn't for house, you never would've been mixed up with the platinum chip. So, you never would've been shot in the head and left for dead.(Well, at least for that reason)

If it wasnt for house vegas would be an iradiated hell hole, he stoped most nukes, enforces order, and has begun to rebuild. For that I think he deserves to live. I mean he has done more than anyone else.

ok wild card is given to you by yes man not mr house. you have to kill mr house because otherwise going to the fort is pointless as you have to go thorugh a door that either yes man or house opens but as you arnt on housees side i dont think he will open it for you so you have to kill him before going to the fort.

Just go see house no harm can be done plus you get a cool house.

Why do I have two quests though? One to go to the fort and one to go see house? If its pointless to go to the fort than why is it an active quest?
