Weilded Weapons and Shields

Do you guys think that when you have a bow, sword (x2 or x1) and a shield, if they will all be seeable on your character when they are not in hand. For example, if you have a bow, a one handed sword and a shield equipped and they are put away would you be able to see the sword on your back/side, bow on back and shield on back when not in use? They lacked the ability to put your shield on your back in oblivion when not in use which throws the look off just a bit but will they fix it in Skyrim?

I don't think you'll have a shield on your back because if you look at the part in the game play trailer where the guy is running in first person, you can see the shield equipped, but not the sword. So I don think you can put it on your back :(

I hope it's not too hard to mod that part, though

Shields do go on your back now. I'm not really sure how the rest will work.

One handed weapons take up the left hip and right hip slots. It would make *sense* for you to be able to have two one handed weapons *equipped* alongside a bow, shield, or two handed weapon in terms of visuals. Because the latter three take up the "back" slot.

However, you will most likely only be able to visually see the weapons you have equipped for use. As in:

One handed weapon only
Two one handed weapons (duel wield)
One handed weapon and shield
Shield only (for use if you are going the shield and spell route)
Two handed weapon
Bow

Edit* @TheFriendlyBear they have confirmed shields go on your back. I imagine in the trailer the guar hit the fan and he had to run for it without putting up his shield.
