I guess we can toss out Tribunal and Bloodmoon too.

Why would we?

Personally, I think the whole thing was pretty awful, but I'll let it slide if there's no change to him next time we see him. I'd rather there where no references to it, but there will ilkely be some.

I'd actually rather it wasn't canon, but people will whine.

Also, although there are legitimate reasons for the CoC changing, people will often complain about him having a different race/gender. Just like people would have complained if the Nerevarine was in Oblivion.

Actually, I liked Jygalagg, and it really emphasized Sheogorath's Schizophrenic side (although, he wasn't done enough the rest of the time, but that's another argument). I would love for Jygalagg to turn back in Sheogorath again, though. Would be a great turn around for the game lore.

The problem being Shivering Isles counts as plug-in... it's an esp mind you

I was not talking about the difference between esp and esm files, I was talking about the difference between stuff made by Bethesda and stuff made by fans.

No, you expect people to be rational when it comes to role-playing. If, for example, I role-play an avatar of a long-forgotten god, complete with immortality and exceptional capabilities and abilities, then I guess that scenario above is possible

If you let it to happen than it is possible, it is your game and you are the judge, but remember if you allow something impossible to happen the only one you are cheating on is you yourself.

But where exactly is it said that the CoC is Sheo or the Gray Fox. It didn't say so in my game. I wasn't either ;)

I didn't buy the game so my CoC didn't even exist. THE COC IS A LIE! NONE OF THAT STUFF CANONICALY HAPPENED!

Or they all happened. But yet none of them happened. I dunno. I'm tired, and when I'm tired I get loopy. Personally, I kinda like the idea that the CoC only did the MQ and possibly KotN and SI.

Not at all. I was merely exaggerating the basic premise of what you meant in order to show how insane it is.

"I didn't do that in my game so therefore it didn't happen in canon" makes absolutely no sense at all.

Apparently you didn't read any of my other posts, because then you would see what I mean. It did happen canonically, I never said it didn't, thats just you putting words in my mouth. What I said was that the CoC wasn't necessarily the one who did.

So yeah, you did take it out of context actually.

Do me a favor and go back and read my damn points please before you try to make me seem stupid.

My freaking point was that the CoC wasn't necessarily Sheogorath. It has absolutely nothing to do with my character. I never disagreed with you the entire topic.

The point is you can't prove the CoC was or was not Sheogorath, not until it is stated elsewhere.
