I wish to know how I can achieve the crash free oblivion. I tried to follow the 50 steps from Blade of mercy mod, not step by step, because I don't want to install fcom, and now I saw for example, that it differed from Theniceone's topic as soon as my omod Cobl ask to overwrite some .dds that are from Oscuro oblivion overhaul.

Use BOSS to sort your load order and Wrye Bash to make a Bashed Patch.

This exactly. Bashes Bashed Patch is perhaps one of the most usefull tools and BOSS does away with so many problems

And yet there are susperstitious simpletons out there that are convinced that these tools are the Devil's work... :wacko: :rolleyes:

i dont understand it petrus! BOSS is literraly 1 click and it runs.... Wrye Bash isnt that difficult either, the readme explains all. oh well. did ya get it working anonimousone?
