strange welkynd stone

Post » Mon Oct 18, 2010 5:43 pm

No mods installed yet found a Crimson Blade Bandit camp, in north western river, technically its in Hammerfell, but I disable boundaries and found this crimson blade bandit fort, inside all bandits only dialog option is Rumors.

There is a tavern with no trade options but hidden in the attic is a "strange welkynd stone". Is this quest items or just unfinished area

Never heard of it. Definitely would like to see some screenshots and a map location.

[edit]

Just browsed the CS and I can't find any reference of this.

Quite frankly, there's no such thing in the vanilla game. Assuming it's true, it has to be a mod - and so I'll be moving this to the Mods section.

Yes, exactly! That location is only possible if you install UL Brena River mod! I think the OP was just trying to pull our leg!

It's from UL Brena River. So yes, you're definitely using mods.

Is that what that is from?

I've been carrying it around assuming it's for one of the other quest mods I installed.

Does it do anything?

It does. If you're running 1.1 the purpose for it becomes slightly more clear. If you were previously running 1.0.x you do need to clean save the mod before much of the bandit related stuff will actually work better.
