Here's Bethesda's http://www.thegamingvault.com/2010/10/bethesda-pulling-poor-fallout-new-vegas-reviews-integrity-is-dead/ to the problem.

I guess by internet standards it's old news. Maybe everyone on this forum doesn't read the same thing you do each day, it's just a guess though. Either way, they should be aware of it.

Seems you are at this point in time, stating rumour as fact.....

Whether Dan Hsu’s claims are credible or not remains to be seen. As far as I know, Bethesda has not gone out publicly about this yet.

...when even the author wont.

Not saying it's not true, as I have no clue but at this point it is only a rumour. (I'd like to think that's all it will ever be though.)

I updated my first post to clarify my position on the issue.
Also, I wouldn't say anything either if it meant my source(s) would lose their jobs over it.

it is understandable, the CPM's they have to pay to get on a large site like IGN/Gamespot/1up are substantial and if those sites are posting bad reviews along with advertisemants of the game then i can see why they would want to pull the campaign.

Remember it is usually the website that agrees to pull the review so that they don't lose out on ad revenue...i have seen 6-7 figure deals with takeovers, custom units, and contests that i can guarantee you would have removed the review until the campaign was over...it is one of the reasons why i typically don't read reviews from the larger websites as they are filtered, bought, or remvoed.

typical premiere launch campaign for large games like this least 2-3 weeks after the game has launched total run is usually 2 months, after that i would except to see the review up.
