Non-dunmer in the Tribunal temple

Post » Mon Oct 25, 2010 7:27 pm

Greetings all. There are a http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Melie_Frenck of http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Viatrix_Petilia in the tribunal temple (and obviously your character can join as well). I just wander, why would the tribunal temple, with many members who are pretty damn racist, and is anti-empire, allow non dunmer to join, and why on earth would a non-dunmer want to join?

Why on earth would the PC join them too, or be allowed to join, especially if (s)he is a slave race.

I imagine a xenophobic temple patriarch responding: They may be stinking in'wah, but at least they're smart enough to acknowledge the providence of ALMSIVI.

I imagine an adventurous outlander responding: Power, what else?

The Tribunal are historical gods, and they're intimate with their followers. There's a lot of mysticism in Vivec's teachings, and the Temple has the largest, public library in Morrowind. Who knows what doors would open to you, once welcomed into the higer echelons?

Vivec has the appearance of half Chimer. Almalexia is fully Chimer in apperance. Sotha Sil has no legs.

Xenophobia/racism is the culture, not the religion.
