BRINK is my baby

Post » Wed Oct 27, 2010 9:53 am

I play PS3 and I could care a less about the network being down. My friends list doesn't dictate what games I play and it never will. I read tons of posts here and I start to feel a little down because so many of you are negative. So I just watched all the SMART videos again and I feel good as new. BRINK is sixy in it's artistic style, original in it's genre breaking manifestations and down right amazing in plot and theme perspective. Pick it apart if you want, I'll settle for pure and simple satisfaction tonight. . .and I haven't even played it yet!

original in it's genre breaking manifestations - How it seamlessly merges single player and multi-player? I don't think you'll being enjoying that any time soon. This coming from a fellow PSN user :)

Well that was very touching.

But do yourself a favor - Never "Over" hype a game for yourself until you get it, test it, play it, then you can loathe it.

Personally my girlfriend has already planned herself a vacation for a week with her friends - Just to leave me in peace for when it comes out.

Now thats love!

Glasgow. . .Is that KY or TN? I've only lived in the south for 7 years. You must be on PC though I assume? And in response to being touching. . .That is what I am all about. :foodndrink:

On an added note: I am fine with the overhyping. . .With so much Underhyping there is a need to maintain a cosmic equilibrium.

lol - Glasgow - Scotland :)

But yea none the less - I can already feel and tell this game was and is going to be amazing since 2009 - Even when it looked nothing like this.

I constantly advertised through speech - text - type, to all my friends, family etc.

Then i remembered, how i had done the same thing once before - With a game called "Too human".

Now i wont go into details - But anyone familiar with the game will know that Dyack and his team, went a little....off track, and were pushed to quickly to release it, or be shut down.

Now same situation - I had dream t, lived, loathed and longed too human since day 1 of announcements - watching the makings, dev diarys, keeping upto date...In the end - It could and should have been so much more.

But none the less - Brink will prevail, And heres hoping to a forever lasting FPS in the works.

Yea but you and Sadiro have GIRLFRIENDS. Wait till your wife brings home some MD code red, a bottle of vodka, gives you six and says "Hey babe enjoy your new game tonight. I got mom to watch the kids all day tomorrow so you can be left alone and enjoy yourself." Ah, these are good times. Cheers!

I agree 100%. I have been overhyping Brink since it appeared on my radar.

I also bought a new controller just for the sake of my thumbs always wearing out the anolog sticks. Hmmm now I need something to keep me awake tonight. . . . . .I hear predictions that the campaign is about 20-25 hours depending on skill and play style.

But I don't like MD Code Red, hell I don't even think they sell it here in the UK.
I'll settle for Monster Khaos though :)
meh the lack of six won't bother me if I'm hooked to Brink for like a week anyways.
