Yea, no that doesn't work for getting my game to work past my level 6 guy. This is a good idea and all, but a no go for me. I even did that, then tried downloading an older character which worked for about 5 minutes, just enough time to get into a scraqe when my game and system froze up again. Thanks Bethesda. I don't mean to jump on the bandwagon, but wow, whoever is in charge of testing patches like these needs to be fired. This is unreasonable, and any longer than a week for a patch on this thing is really destroying all publisher cred you once had with me. I can appreciate the effort, but doing something like this to your loyal customers, who are willing to spend hundreds of hours and plenty of money buying and then freely advertising your product to their friends just comes off as a real big SCREW YOU to your "fans". I understand this kind of thing happens with a game as complicated as this one, but really, REALLY? Come on guys (and gals), for many people this is unforgivable. You didn't even get hacked! This is purely a lazy oversight with too little time put into testing, and that is just unprofessional.
