The Skaal left their mark in Bloodmoon and even made literary appearances in Oblivion, does this mean that the outcast tribe of Solestheim will make another appearance in Skyrim? Perhaps not, but, more likely, what they have had to say may point to what will happen. Take, for instance, The Story of Aevar Stone-Singer (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Aevar_Stone-Singer), in which a description of important Skaal deities and demons are found. These, as pointed out by the Unofficial Elder Scroll Pages, are similar to the Nordic gods, All-maker as Anu, the Adversary as Padomay and the Greedy man as Lorkhan. However, following the descriptions of each of these entities one may realize that the Greedy man took away the "Strength" of the people, much like Orkey took the Life from the Nords. This would cast the Adversary, described as the "Devourer of worlds", as Alduin, the eater of the age of Nords, furthermore, Alduin is often accredited the epitaph of "World Eater". Finally the All-Maker, protector of the Skaal, seems most likely to be Shor, or Lorkhan. Lorkhan, Venerated by the Nords, was the Daedra credited with persuading the Aedra to form earth, thus being responsible for the making of all, the All-maker. It seems, not only, that these presumptions are supported by the lore of the Skaal, but that they are also more congruent with Nordic myth (having previously been believed that the Skaal and the Nords had opposing beliefs)
If these suppositions are correct then Alduin, known to the Skaal, perhaps, as the Adversary or as Thartaag, World Devourer, will come again in the end days.
This is my postulation, Thoughts?
