RegArding the 360 latest patch : Fallout: New Vegas

They've had the fix since yesterday. There's no reason it shouldn't be out now except that Microsoft is pulling the usual stunt.

I'm certain if someone already reposnded to this, but I think the error messege about "some objects may not be valid" is referring to the pre-order DLC (I have the Classic Pack). The one I get has the Weathered 10mm pistol, the Vault 13 Amored Suit, 5 Stimpacks, the Vault 13 Canteen, and Doctor's Bag I think. I think someone stated he/she didn't have Dead Money downloaded yet. So that seems to be the conclusion, correct me if I'm wrong.

This would be the case if people without DM or CP weren't getting hit with the message.

Yeah yeah, my proof-reading skills isn't top notch. But I'm glad I'm not a moron. Ignorance can be fixed by knowledge as stupidity requires one to be made aware of such.

XBL doesn't work like that. It's not a PC. You don't have to have previous patches installed. Since every game can only have the most current/up to date patch available for download, they have to make sure that the patch available covers all the changes made by the previous patches. So if you never downloaded any of the patches, you're fine when they re-upload the newest patch.

I'm talking about the latest patch. I downloaded the previous two made available last year.

Not a problem, I have the same concerns. It's difficult to get a proper point across when type behind a monitor. Can't hear one's tone and can't see one's facial expressions.

i wish it was tommorow so the patch for the patch that will most likely need another patch will come out. i will say though that im very happy with the new update contents(weapon dam/scaling issues) even though its a game crashing patch

Nope. Since i applied the latest patch this morning, i`ve had weird stretching corpse textures, 2 lockups in Camp Mcarran within 10 minutes at different sections.

Seems even worse now. Really didn`t want to have to start another new game but I`m feeling this patch and my save game have increased the glitch/lockups.

Oh and this is the latest latest patch.

A post by Gstaff had said that when you load your new file, create a new save for that file and play from there then things should run to plan.

Yep thats the first thing I did after I loaded my save game.

I know this patch is mainly for the weapons but I have to say that so far my game is even more prone to freezing now. Looks like a another new game is in order.

Okay tried numerous times reloading saved game and it always crashes after a few minutes. Deleted the fixed update now as I want to continue with my Level 19 char.
