I just deleted the update and now I can play just fine now....wth?

Not sure about the staying disconnected...my live membership expired a few months ago, but technically i am still connected. After I removed the patch, it asked me again to install, but i just hit cancel and it worked like normal. The only DLC I have is the tribal pack.

How can i remove the patch? is there any way to do that? If i can remove it I wont let obsidian to patch my game anymore.... Its a [censored] joke

I just picked up this game about a week ago. Everything worked fine till the patch before todays patch. The one today made it worse. I get about 10 minutes into the game, and I start falling, making a hopping motion, then the game freezes. Very very frustrating. Should I just delete the patch and play it offline?
