anyway, it paladin has had some trouble using one of my mods.
his character stats seems to have been damaged by a mod and he is trying to track down which mod caused it.
i post here is original comment on tes nexus and my reply.
well now I have started to notice a weird and annoying thing:
On occasion when I load a saved game it will start getting the stat drain like I had died. If I reload the saved game it will load properly.
edit...now really getting annoying that when I save a game, and quit, come back later to get the stat drain for nothing.
I am constantly having to use my stat restoration ring to fix my stats.
I even get stat mess ups on occasion using kuertee's Inventory is a Backpack mod. Picking up and dropping it causes stat changes that don't go away sometimes. I even get the drain messages sometimes but don't sometimes get the actual drain. The key word is sometimes...
Perhaps a conflict with other stat modifier mods like fatigue/health/hypothermia/nGCD/Progress?

Hey ITPaladin,
Thanks for trying my mods!
And I'm sorry for not replying.
I've not played the game since Nov 2009.
In regards to the stat drain...
Most (if not all my mods) uses spell drains (instead of using ModAV or ModAV2) that are viewable in your characters Active Effects list.
I built it this way to ensure that they don't break your character stats as you describe.
Mods that do not calculate stat bonuses/drains properly are the culprit.
Which mods these will be hard to pin point.
Modders (that I know) who know how to calculate stat bonuses/drains properly would be: abo, theNiceOne and tejon.
So I'd trust any mods from them to more than others.
However, I cannot be certain for sure that their mods allow for all circumstances.
Stats usually break when a mod uses ModAV or ModAV2 to effect them is removed/uninstalled/deactivated without negating the mod's effects first.
When you deactivate any of my mods (those that use spell drains), their effects are removed cleanly because their spell effects are removed from the game and so the stat.
Attached is a screenshot of how the effects of my mod should show on your character.
(Seems like tesnexus.com/download is being reported by google as an "Attack Page!".)
My suggestion to fix your character would be (and this may not be the best method):
1. disable all mods except the unofficial patch
2. use the unofficial patch's fix stat option
3. do a clean-save
4. re-enable your mods to reboot them
You may still be able to find my older posts in the Bethesda forum about my use of active spells in my mods
and why I prefer them over using ModAV and ModAV2s.
I hope this helps you track down which mod is damaging your stat.
I'll post this reply and your query above in the Bethesda forum now.
Cheers, ITPaladin.
here's the link to this post in tesnexus' forum.
it has a screenshot attached that shows how the effects of my mod shows up in your character's active effects list:
