What a pointless response.

I almost doubt it. PS3 doesn't have an integrated feature as of yet to allow you to listen to music while gaming. It's up to the developer to put that feature in their specific game. Because NV is multiplatform, I doubt that they will add in a console specific feature like that.

does no one have a stereo? or an iPod... Just because the music isn't on your pipboy doesn't mean you can't listen to it.

True, but it's a lot easier if the music levels are balanced with the other in game audio. You'd have to adjust your speakers, and earphones would drown out the sound from your TV/PC. Plus, it's a lot easier to have everything you need in one place, ie. your Pip-Boy.

ahh, yeah...that's why I play on a PC, lol, but if you have no other options...I was just saying that you can still listen to your own music.

Yeah, I'll be on PC too, so no problems here. :twirl:

Still, PS3 really needs integrated music overlay.

Yep. PS3 needs an integrated music overlay alright. I could only play music on specific exclusive games. Such as Killzone 2 while in Multiplayer.

I don't understand everyones beef with Fallout and it's swing/big bandesque music. I find it much better than todays music.

Meh, consoles aren't for listening to music. Get yourself a stereo, some kind of mp3 player or just use your PC

PS3 does not have the feature yet, it was meant to be released in 3.30 I think (currently on 3.50) but has been constantly delayed, one wonders why (and becomes nervous when plus comes out). Of course you could listen on something else but it is more of a hassle.

gonzohunter, really? Can you even hear music like that? Most people can't listen to two tracks, three would just be noise unless you're an android.
